North apps

Two apps · one maker · Android

Two small apps.
Each does one thing, properly.

No suite, no ecosystem, no upsell maze. True North runs your training progression so you don't keep a spreadsheet. Lucid North teaches you to recognise a dream while you're in it. Pick the one you need.

True North · training logbook · available now

The logbook that does the thinking.

You build the program once. Every session the app fills in the weights and reps from what you actually lifted last time — and shows the reason for each number. Swap an exercise when a machine's taken. No black-box AI.

Lucid North · lucid-dreaming trainer

Wake up inside the dream.

Lucid dreaming is a trainable skill. Lucid North gives you the reality-check habit, a 30-second dream journal, and an induction protocol built on published research — on a screen designed for 4 a.m.

  • LiveTrue North is on Google Play.
  • NextLucid North public release, launch-list subscribers told first.
  • LateriOS for both.

One person, in the open. Both apps are local-first — your data stays on your device, not in an analytics pipeline. Same maker as moschovakiscapital.com. Questions reach a human at[email protected].

Is North apps one app or two?

Two separate Android apps published by Moschovakis: True North, a training logbook, and Lucid North, a lucid-dreaming trainer. They share a maker and a design language — not an account, a codebase, or a subscription. Use one and ignore the other.

Can I download them?

True North is live on Google Play now. Lucid North is in final testing; join its list and you'll get one email the day it's out. iOS comes after both are settled on Android.

What does "local-first" mean?

Your data lives on your device, not on a server. Both apps work fully offline, there's no account to create, and you can export everything you put in. The website uses privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (self-hosted Umami) and nothing else.

What do they cost?

Both have a free core that stays free: anything free today stays free. Each has one optional Pro tier, monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase. In True North, Pro adds the Coach, progress charts, CSV export and unlimited program days.

Who's building this?

One person — the same maker behind moschovakiscapital.com — building in the open. Progress, decisions and trade-offs are posted as they happen. Questions go straight to [email protected].

Still deciding?

Join both lists in one go — you'll still only hear from us when each app is actually ready.
